Good Laboratory Practice

Ecotox Services International is recognised by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) as a GLP facility compliant with OECD Principles of GLP. ESI is one of the few ecotoxicological laboratory in the Southern Hemisphere to achieve this level of accreditation.

GLP recognition is appropriate for facilities conducting non-clinical health and environmental safety studies of various chemicals (such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides and industrial chemicals) for registration purposes. The OECD Council Directives on Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) states that data generated in a facility that is recognised by a GLP compliance monitoring authority is eligible for acceptance by all OECD member nations.

ESI's accreditation is pertinent in the field of ecotoxicology testing for programmes such as REACH.
