Chris Doyle

Chris Doyle is the Laboratory Manager at Ecotox Services Australasia. His responsibilities include the day-to-day running of the laboratory and management of toxicity testing projects.

Chris has over 10 years experience in the field of ecotoxicology and his research has been published in several scientific journals. He has a particular interest in the effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals on the physiology and behaviour of freshwater fish. More recently, Chris has been involved in research into the effects of contaminants on the fertilisation and early life-stage development of marine invertebrates.

Chris is experienced in a wide range of toxicity tests and has worked with a diverse array of species, including algae, crustaceans, echinoderms, fish and terrestrial plants and invertebrates. Chris is also experienced in performing Toxicity Identification Evaluations (TIE). He has been involved in several TIE studies aimed at identifying the causes of toxicity in sewage effluents, landfill leachate and sediment pore waters.
